\nNor take up as his art the rapier keen,
\nBut for our Griffyth King, our Eastern Lord,
\nThey thrust and parry, feint and fight as seen.
\nThick has the field of noble challenge been
\nYet one became distinct amongst the crowd.
\nNow sing we all as one this joyful pean
\nUnto the one who makes our King thus proud.
\nRing out ye wintry bells of Bergantal
\nThis twenty second day of the new year,
\nProclaim this fencer’s prowess in your halls
\nDefender of the Eastern Realm all hear,
\nWhat Honor, Grace, Finesse and Chivalry –
\nThe Champion of our King this one must be.<\/p>\n
