{"id":625,"date":"2011-12-06T21:50:35","date_gmt":"2011-12-06T21:50:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mbouchard.com\/aneleda\/?p=625"},"modified":"2011-12-06T21:50:35","modified_gmt":"2011-12-06T21:50:35","slug":"a-sonnet-for-the-peace-king","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mbouchard.com\/aneleda\/a-sonnet-for-the-peace-king","title":{"rendered":"A sonnet for the peace-King"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The peace-King rules with gentle might &#8211;<br \/>\nthis hand that bore the battle-sword &#8211;<br \/>\nfrom on the throne, all lands in sight,<br \/>\nbrings joy to all who hear his word.<\/p>\n<p>The richness of his people praised,<br \/>\nin graceful calm he does recline<br \/>\nas for their efforts they are raised &#8211;<br \/>\nhe lifts their hearts, and they do shine.<\/p>\n<p>How each is driven to excel<br \/>\nFor this dear King who loves so well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; a \/ 12\/5\/AS46<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>A small sonnet for my peace-King, in honor of his gracious support of those who love the arts, and especially for his naming of the Prince&#8217;s Bard of Tir Mara, an act which has touched many, feel. Syr Yssenge mentioned this as one of his favorite moments of the Tir Mara event: &#8220;AND, Diarmaid singing The Northern Star during court. I could hear people humming and beginning to sing along with him. I truly felt that we were our own Principality at that moment.
