Shall we now praise her Brew array?

Would we like them here, or there?
\nWe would like them anywhere!<\/p>\n

A beer, a beer, a beer, a beer
\nShe surely makes a fine brown beer!<\/p>\n

An ale, an ale, a hale pale ale
\nIn brewing one she would not fail!<\/p>\n

She can make an Allis Mead!
\nTaste it! It is what you need!<\/p>\n

She has spicy metheglin,
\nwho\u2019s taste will make you warm within!<\/p>\n

Have ye had PotusYpocras?
\nI wish’d I had a bigger glass!<\/p>\n

Hast had blueberry mealomel?
\nIt made me leap like a gazelle!<\/p>\n

Berry cordial sweet and fine?
\nI tell my friends that bottle\u2019s mine!<\/p>\n

I muse upon her cyser gold…
\nNo apple’s better used, all told!<\/p>\n

And can she make a pyment too?
\nOh Yes, that Lady Vey can brew!<\/p>\n

Does she know of the content?
\nAnd how to bottle and ferment?
\nShe comopunds with a sure intent,
\nand all sure facts she can present.<\/p>\n

Oh She can bottle and ferment!
\nAnd measure alcohol percent!<\/p>\n

But does this lady document?
\nThat task she’d never circumvent!<\/p>\n

Ah! Can she clear the heady brew?
\nFalse cloying mung she does subdue!<\/p>\n

Well, Does she know the kinds of yeast?
\nMore than good huntsmen know of beast!<\/p>\n

She is friend of bard and bee!<\/p>\n

She is friend of you and me!<\/p>\n

Fill up your cups and you will see!<\/p>\n

Shall she join the Maunche’s Order?
\nIt is here writ by recorder!<\/p>\n

At this Bardic for King and Queen
\nIn Feburary’s winter mean
\nOn the fifth day, which thus arrived
\nAnno Sociatitis forty-five.<\/p>\n

In Endewearde’s most festive hall
\nAmong her friends, yes, one and all!
\nAt the fine Bardic event,
\nWhich her gifts did help cement.<\/p>\n

How we do like that Lady Vey!
\nThusly she is a Maunch this day.<\/p>\n

As we like our King and Queen-a,
\nKind Griffith, fair Aikaterine-a.<\/p>\n

So we give it to their hands,
\nsigned by rulers of these lands.<\/p>\n

Lady Sylvia du Vey had been, some years ago, threatened with a text in the style of Herr T. Geisel.\u00a0 When she was given her Maunch for brewing, the chance was there to make it exceptionally interesting.\u00a0 The final text is some 340 words, blessings to Mistress Carolyne.\u00a0 The Original was some 550 or so, and was fiercely edited.\u00a0 The scroll was done by Jean and Aneleda via Google Docs, back and forth.\u00a0 It’s an entertaining way to manage.\u00a0 At Court, having been JUST NAMED the Bardic Champions, they read it together for her with great joy, and watched her tears of laughter with as much dignity as possible.\u00a0 It was the best scroll reading *ever* they think.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
